The MSAB math program offers courses at the remedial, regular and advanced levels for elementary, middle school and high school students. The small class sizes enable individual attention to be given to each student. The development of basic math skills are stressed. The high school math courses offered at MSAB are coordinated with math courses offered at Faribault High School.

Courses are offered in both large print and Braille. Students taking math courses in Braille are also given instructions in the Nemeth Code.
Students have available to them the use of many tools to help reach a level of achievement reflecting their abilities. Students receive individual instructions in the use of the simple abacus, abacus, talking calculator, mPower and the Braille Note. Students also have available to them a state of the art computer lab which will enable them to use instructional math programs designed for the computer.
