The MSAB High School Mathematics program provides students with individualized instruction that develops critical thinking, mathematical reasoning, and problem-solving skills while preparing students for college, careers, and everyday life.
Small class sizes allow teachers to tailor instruction to each student's strengths, educational needs, and Individualized Education Program (IEP). Our curriculum aligns with the Minnesota Academic Standards while utilizing accessible instructional materials and educational resources that support students who are blind, visually impaired, or DeafBlind.
High school mathematics courses may include:
- Consumer Mathematics
- Pre-Algebra
- Algebra
- Geometry
- Other mathematics coursework aligned with individual graduation plans
Students receiving mathematics instruction in Braille are also taught the Nemeth Code to support mathematical notation and problem-solving.
