Elementary Program
MSAB’s Elementary Program is designed for students kindergarten through grade 5, who are visually impaired or blind and may have additional disabilities. Programming engages students in developmentally appropriate learning experiences designed to meet each student's individual strengths and needs. Elementary programming includes reading, writing, math, science, social studies, physical education, health, art, music, and technology. Students may also participate in inclusive learning opportunities through a partnership with Faribault Public Schools, when appropriate as determined by their IEP team. Our classroom content follows the Minnesota State Standards and we have educational resources that follow these standards as well as meet each student's unique learning strengths and educational needs.
